This layout utilizes heat embossing for a fun polka dot background paper and a shape cutting to cool to create extra dimension. I hope you enjoy it & thanks for watching!

I would think i would enjoy both. scrapbooking i have a 20 m/o girl who ihave tons of pic online and dont know what to do with them. and with pottery ever since ihave been watching crafters coast to coast it looks fun and interesting. I have limited experience in cross stitch and good knowledge in sewing. so i dont know which would be better for me with the experience i have. if u have any other suggestions i would greatly appreciate it as well.
Also i tend to start things and not finish if they are too overwhelming. I am bipolar and my moods shift. so whatever it will be needs to keep my interest.
I would suggest scrapbooking and pottery! I know of places where you can go and do your pottery, they can help you and, well, they’re kinda like stores where you go in and pick what you want and then make it. Also, with your daughter’s age, in a year or two there are going to be great hobbies that can incorporate her and you can start your own! You would definitely be giving her a creative piece of life too! If you still don’t know, stores like michaels and hobbylobby have a calender of classes on different crafts and hobbies. They generally have a small fee, but it might be worth it to go to a couple and see what strikes you!
I was gonna give them a cd of pictures with all the things they did that night and make it look nice
My favorite site for online digital scrapbooking is CropMom. you can create scrapbook layouts online at Cropmom as well as making collages, posters, or invitations. Thousands of designer graphics are available, templates are also provided, and you can manipulate your photos, add text, rotate text, etc. It is fun easy and you can be as creative as you want.
Upload your photo. Make your layout creation using it. You can even create a fake magazine cover and put your own photos on it.
Then save it. Go to My CropMom and click on the layout. Then click the "share" link. It’ll let you enter the email address of the recipient, and your card will be sent via email for free. Or you can upload to your favorite social networking site for free.
To make Photo-Book of your scrapbook layouts you can purchase the print-quality JPEG file of your layouts (it doesn’t cost much) and download them to your computer.
From here, you can either print your layouts at home for inclusion in a photobook. Or – what I usually do – is have my layouts printed as a photo scrapbook by Shutterfly, or Snapfish.
I’m creating a yearbook and am wondering what a good free digital scrapbooking website would be to make these yearbook pages on.
Thanks a bunch in advance.
Try Picabo. It’s a neat site! You download the software to your PC so you don’t have to be on-line to create a book. It’s free to download, and create but you need to purchase the book when you are ready to print it.

I was wondering if anyone had any unique/cool ideas for a baby scrapbook. I already have some basic ideas, but I was wondering about some more. Thanks!
I echo the idea on the wrapping paper. For one of my showers for my first, a lady gave me a homemade hooded bath towel wrapped in bathtime wrapping paper. I took the paper and just used if for the page layout and used pics from that shower to decorate. It was very easy… no ironing needed.
Another thing I really love is preprinted pages. I know you might be thinking – how un-unique is that!! BUT it saves you a ton of time and you can still embellish them to whatever degree you choose. The brand I love is Aimee J Inc. I tend to go way overboard when it comes to the number of pics I want to include resulting in a huge number of pages. The printed pages help to keep things going and focused so I don’t lose track of what I wanted to accomplish.
I’m going to try this idea myself… take a bunch of pics of your baby’s eyes, ears, toes, fingers, hairline… etc. memories you want to capture and make them into 1-2 in. squares to form a chunky border on your 12×12 page then put a full baby pic in the main area of the page and embellish as you like. I waited for Michael to fall asleep and tried this. Hint – make sure your flash is off – my pics came out better without it.
Have fun!!!
I have been trying to use the Cricut Markers and then cut out the image. I get the marker to work fine, change the blade, hit load paper and cut and it cuts but it does not line up with my drawing. Any suggestions? Help Please!
The Cricut markers have a forum
with others that can help you get
things right….

i’m thinking about putting on an addition for scrapbooking. I’d like to rent it out when i’m not using it to friends and other demonstrators. any ideas on what permits or licenses i would need to make this legal?
This depends on your municipality and also could depend on the deed restrictions in your subdivision/Home Owners Association. Assuming its allowed in your community, you may want to talk to a SCORE counselor in your city to find out what city and county or state requirements may exist. SCORE Is a free service provided by volunteers that offer small business counseling and they work with the SBA so its not a scam. Try http://www.score.org to find your local chapter.
On another note, if its not going to be a big operation you may just want to keep it to yourself.
Good Luck!
